Tomas Scagliarini

Bio
I was trained as a physicist at University of Bari.
I got my PhD at University of Bari in 2022 with a thesis on multivariate information decomposition in fincancial time series.
I moved to Padua in 2023, where I was a PhD resercher at Comunelab, where I studied network robustness under climatic stress.
My name is spelled Tomáš and is pronounced [ˈtomaːʃ], and derives from one of the main characters of this book.
Interests
My research interests includes:
- Network robustness in complex systems, and specifically:
- Climate time series analysis and tipping point detection
- Robustness of ecological communities
- Information flow in fincancial time series
- Information decomposition in multivariate datasets
